| This important binding by Antoine Ruette is found in The British Library Database of Bookbindings. I have detailed this binding on another page (click here to see that page). This is a very important link to the Charenton bindings, I am just guessing it is early i.e. 1647. This is shelfmarked in the British Library as davis463, no binder has yet been attributed! Even though we have shown several years ago (October 2006) that it is incontesably an Antoine Ruette binding .(see this page) |
